 Approaching the milestones of 4 years and 6 months old, these pretty princesses were so much fun to work with!  One of the perks of this dream job of mine is getting to document personalities that quickly change, develop, and grow with the children I photograph.   Still a big kid at heart, I jump at the chance to run, play, and crack up with the sweet faces that grace my presence.   Capturing an image and hearing laughter while looking back at the moment is my favorite.   Smiles that light up faces, huge brown eyes that draw you in for a cuddle, these are the magical moments of childhood -  and they make my heart smile.   Thanks again H family!  Your girls are beautiful.

Meet the C Family...this super sweet and laid back bunch was so much fun!  Mr. N and I met up last year for the very first time.  I was ecstatic when mom called to document Mr. N turning 4, and the addition of their newest family member... Miss E! Check out her yummy cheeks and Mr. N's big boy swagger!  He is so handsome. C family it was a pleasure, as always, thanks for being troopers and your southern hospitality! Enjoy.

Greeting me with smiles and giggles as he was taken out of the car, Mr. M was exuberant! Because really, what could be better than a morning at the park with mom & dad, and his best friend Maggie? With an affection for cars and balls, a contagious belly laugh, unbelievable blue eyes, and a captivating joyful spirit, Mr. M is all boy! Being that this handsome little guy spent his first few weeks in the NICU, mom didn't have the newborn images she had always wanted. So getting together with this sweet family to document their love and affection for each other, and the milestone of their little man turning one was of the utmost importance. I just love the way the entire session turned out! W family I loved every second with you guys. Thank you for being so laid back and fun! You have such a special little guy on your hands. Give him a squeeze for me!

A LITTLE R&R | {LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER PLAYA DEL CARMEN, MEXICO}

June was a month of traveling for us. If you have done any amount of vacationing then you know it is a difficult state of mind to climb out of. I am just getting around to sharing some of the images of our travels this summer. One of the places my husband and I were fortunate to visit was Play Del Carmen. The wonderful folks at Southland Stucco and Masonry treated a handful of business associates and their spouses to a relaxing 4 day, 3 night get away at the Royal Hideaway Resort. I cannot adequately express my gratitude nor describe their hospitality and generosity. This was more than a trip to me...it was a gift of leisure and no responsibility. To think... I slept in, went to the spa, lounged by the pool, rocked my new Kate Spades , and READ A BOOK- no diapers, preparing food, or washing endless mountains of dishes! No this wasn't just a trip... it was a dream perfectly choreographed to the break in reality I so desperately needed! Many thanks to Jon, Amy, and Terry for such a great weekend. You guys out did yourselves!

These images are some of my findings around the resort and in town. In an effort to travel as light as possible I left my camera at home and used the camera on my phone.

Anything outdoors", she energetically stated. I listened intently over the phone as she described how her sweet family of three loves to hunt, fish, and just spend time outside. Living close enough to the river to just go on a whim is a luxury most wish they had during these more than hot summer days. "We go down there as much as we can. We love to fish, hunt, and to be outside." - S, N and B, I had so much fun with you all! Thank you for being troopers and hanging in there with me. You guys make it look sooo easy.

Jack, a WWII veteran, sits patiently with his bride of 60 years by his side. Both enjoying the playfulness of their great grandchildren romping and rolling in the hay meadow. A daughter's fateful encounter and years of longing have lead to this day. This hot, humid, sticky day. Everyone in the family is here. Finally. I am honored to have been asked to capture such a rare display of a family's love and longevity. It was a pleasure working, dancing, chasing, and sweating with you all! May you be blessed with many more healthy and happy years together!

Happy Friday...

Thought I would share a couple of semi recent images of my loves.... no reason really, just feeling completely blessed and an overwhelming since of joy being a mom of two precious children. We are headed to the coast this weekend to spend time with family we haven't seen in a about a year. Looking forward to doing some catching up, relaxing and sleeping in!

The B Fam...

I just love the time I get to spend with the B family! I met J & N through my husband in college long before any of us were married or even thought about having kids. We have traveled together, celebrated birthdays together, and welcomed new members of each other's families together. They are one of my most favorite families and I am blessed to call them friends. So of course I had a blast with them during this session. Hope you guys enjoy your sneak peek....

The H Family...

What a whirl wind....no really! Our first attempt at capturing some amazing images of the H Family was quickly put to the test when trying to endure some random hurricane force winds. A couple of weeks and one rescheduled session later and the following was worth the wait... enjoy your sneak peek H Fam.

Miss P is 2 and was soo curious about the treasures around her. I just loved watching her explore and discover!
