LOVE & THE GREAT OUTDOORS | {FAMILY LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER, WHARTON TX}

Anything outdoors", she energetically stated. I listened intently over the phone as she described how her sweet family of three loves to hunt, fish, and just spend time outside. Living close enough to the river to just go on a whim is a luxury most wish they had during these more than hot summer days. "We go down there as much as we can. We love to fish, hunt, and to be outside." - S, N and B, I had so much fun with you all! Thank you for being troopers and hanging in there with me. You guys make it look sooo easy.

N, you make the outdoors look good!

Seriously...no enhancement...those eyes are just that AWESOME!

STATIC CHARGED | {BABY LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER, KATY TX}

The grass glistening with dew was not going to slow us down! Armed with blankets and a half dressed baby, we made our way to the front yard. The humid heat of the unofficial summer morning clung to us like a static charged sock pulled from the drier. Sweet Mr. O? He was all smiles! This little guy is one of the most laid back babies I have ever met. LOVE this first image - I hear his giggles every time I look at it! Mr. O you did such a great job! Thanks for hanging in there with me and making such a hot, sticky day so enjoyable! Also, Mom...all the heavy lifting- I couldn't have done it without you, thank you! I can't wait to show you the rest! Happy Monday.

FULL CIRCLE | {TEXAS A&M LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER, KATY TX}

Life moves so fast! Years fly by- jobs, husbands, kids, & gray hairs appear - without warning this crazy world comes full circle. Over a decade ago, my cousin K was in grade school and geared up for her "Aggieland Birthday Extravaganza Weekend". I was attending A&M, working for "Papa Bush" at The George Bush Foundation, and escorting birthday girls around campus!

The birthday girl and her guide oh sooo many years ago!

Today, my sweet little cousin has grown into a beautiful young woman and a Fightin' Texas Aggie! [whoop] Graduating this past semester with a degree in Marketing, we got together again to freeze time. K, I had an amazing day with you! I am extremely proud of you and your accomplishments. Congrats and Gig 'em! Enjoy your sneak peek.

IN THE SAME PLACE- AT THE SAME TIME... {FAMILY LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER KATY, TX}

A family portrait in the bluebonnets- that is all this mom of 5 has desperately wanted for as long as she can remember. However, getting all seven members of her family together...in the same place....at the same time... would not be a small feat, another reason for her call in January. We set a date in early May for the long awaited session. As the months passed we kept in touch and one rainless day lead to another. Before long a decision had to be made. The bluebonnets were fading at a rapid rate and our window was beginning to close. If momma M was going to get her family portrait in the bluebonnets we needed to act fast. So, with a quick rearrangement of schedules and a few hoops jumped through, we did it!

Momma M, I hope they are everything you have been waiting for. I had a great time with you and your family. Thanks again for the honor and privilege. Enjoy your sneak peek.

DESPITE THE ODDS | {NEWBORN LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER KATY TX }

The odds were stacked against us from the very beginning of our time together and frankly, I was a little worried. By looking at these images no one would ever guess that the sweet Mr. C slept peacefully as sounds of workers banging out a new deck and tending to the lawn echoed through the house. FOR. HOURS. He was a trooper and is an amazing napper! I am thrilled that I got the chance to hang out with such a sweet, sweet little boy. Congratulations E Family he is beautiful!

A BOX FULL OF JOY | {CHILD LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER KATY TX}

Boxes. I am surrounded by them at the moment. Sure, I may be delusional, after all, it has been well over 48 hours since I last ate. FOOD. But, I think boxes are one of the most neglected, and forgotten treasures we have all played in or with at some point in life. I have known them to be magical far off places and things. However, as I stuff a life's worth of things, 4 lives to be exact, into these temporary storage containers, I am caught up in the monotony of it all. The magic is gone and has been replaced with wrapping, stuffing, taping, labeling...and wishing someone else would volunteer to take over. It was then, when I was ready to throw in the towel and pass the packing job on to someone else, I was reminded that boxes aren't so bad...

Happy Wednesday- may your day be filled with a boxful of joy!
