Meet the C Family...this super sweet and laid back bunch was so much fun!  Mr. N and I met up last year for the very first time.  I was ecstatic when mom called to document Mr. N turning 4, and the addition of their newest family member... My sweet baby girl turned four at the end of August.

The words to the song "wildflower" encompass the beauty and carefree spirit of who she is right now... {sweet, spunky, beautifully and perfectly crafted by The Maker's hands}

We celebrated her milestone with friends and family in Rainbow Fairy Princess style. Here are just a few of my favorites from her session.

Greeting me with smiles and giggles as he was taken out of the car, Mr. M was exuberant! Because really, what could be better than a morning at the park with mom & dad, and his best friend Maggie? With an affection for cars and balls, a contagious belly laugh, unbelievable blue eyes, and a captivating joyful spirit, Mr. M is all boy! Being that this handsome little guy spent his first few weeks in the NICU, mom didn't have the newborn images she had always wanted. So getting together with this sweet family to document their love and affection for each other, and the milestone of their little man turning one was of the utmost importance. I just love the way the entire session turned out! W family I loved every second with you guys. Thank you for being so laid back and fun! You have such a special little guy on your hands. Give him a squeeze for me!

MONSTER TRUCKS & MOM | {CHILD LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER, HOUSTON TX}

Sweltering. Unrelenting. HEAT. We have all experienced some sort of ridiculous heat this summer and because so, I have to start this post simply by saying THANK YOU to my amazing friends for sticking (no pun intended) with me during our time together. Sure, I am use to walking away from a session needing a change of clothes and a shower, but my clients...not so much. However, we were all ready to jump in a near by lake. fully. clothed.
This sweet family has been friends of ours for years. We have gone to parties together while dating, participated in each others weddings, and shared in the joy and excitement of adding members to our families. I am honored to have had the chance to share in yet another milestone...Mr. C being 2!
Mr. C is all boy. He loves monster trucks, his mom, throwing rocks at frogs, playing in the water, wrestling with dad, and all things Spider-Man! He has got a killer personality and a belly laugh like no other. What a gift you are Mr. C! I loved every second of playing with you!

A LITTLE R&R | {LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER PLAYA DEL CARMEN, MEXICO}

June was a month of traveling for us. If you have done any amount of vacationing then you know it is a difficult state of mind to climb out of. I am just getting around to sharing some of the images of our travels this summer. One of the places my husband and I were fortunate to visit was Play Del Carmen. The wonderful folks at Southland Stucco and Masonry treated a handful of business associates and their spouses to a relaxing 4 day, 3 night get away at the Royal Hideaway Resort. I cannot adequately express my gratitude nor describe their hospitality and generosity. This was more than a trip to me...it was a gift of leisure and no responsibility. To think... I slept in, went to the spa, lounged by the pool, rocked my new Kate Spades , and READ A BOOK- no diapers, preparing food, or washing endless mountains of dishes! No this wasn't just a trip... it was a dream perfectly choreographed to the break in reality I so desperately needed! Many thanks to Jon, Amy, and Terry for such a great weekend. You guys out did yourselves!

Anything outdoors", she energetically stated. I listened intently over the phone as she described how her sweet family of three loves to hunt, fish, and just spend time outside. Living close enough to the river to just go on a whim is a luxury most wish they had during these more than hot summer days. "We go down there as much as we can. We love to fish, hunt, and to be outside." - S, N and B, I had so much fun with you all! Thank you for being troopers and hanging in there with me. You guys make it look sooo easy.
