Happy Father's Day!!

2011 Senior Reps...not just a girl thing!

Do you or someone you know have a fun, energetic, larger than life personality? Are you comfortable rockin' what you've got in front of a camera? Do you enjoy talking with and meeting new people? Want to earn some serious 'Cash for College', free Senior Portraits, and more? Kari Polak Photography is now searching for 2011 Senior Reps to spread the word and recruit for my studio!! Entering is easy. Send a picture of your self and a short blurb telling me why you'd make a great Senior Rep to karipolakphoto@gmail.com. Make sure to include your name, contact information, and what school you will attend during the 2010-2011 school year. All entries should be made by August 1, 2010. Selections will be made shortly after and will be contacted with the details of the Senior Rep Photo Shoot. KPP 2011 Senior Reps will be debuted on this blog as well as the website.

Mother's Day Give Away...

Mother's Day is May 9th this year and what better way to honor a deserving Mom than to nominate her for the FREE photo package I will be giving away....(a $300 value)!!!

I am inviting you and anyone you know to nominate a special MOM in your life! These nominations can be, but are not limited to just your own mom or wife- they could be a friend, neighbor, co-worker or anyone you can think of that is DESERVING. This giveaway can be for, but will not be restricted to, those in financial need. Nominees can be a mother that inspires you, has overcome adversity, does so much volunteer work for others, may be battling a health issue and hasn't had pictures taken in years,etc.

Nominations should be for ladies that live in the Katy/Houston area or ladies that are willing to travel at their own expense to the Katy/ Houston area for a session.

The Es are friends of mine and I have watched their little cutie grow up right before my lens over the past year. Mr. R and his adorable chubby cheeks are still as precious as ever...just a little faster than I remember! So chasing him around proved to be a workout in its self! 2nd Annual KPP Bluebonnet Event!!

Mark your calendars and head on up to Brehnam for the 2nd Annual Kari Polak Photography Bluebonnet Event, April 10-11th! If you missed out on last year's event, you won't want to miss it this year! Experts say, "the rain and cold have kept the bluebonnets pent up with their root systems building underground" and are predicting this to be one of the best wildflower seasons in memory!! While you are in town, stop by the local Bluebonnet Festival and enjoy the live entertainment, children's activities, exhibits, and tours of the historic community.
