COOL POINTS | {FAMILY LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER, KATY TEXAS}

 Mr. O is back in front of my camera and this time he brought his mom and dad!!  I love this little guy.    He is all boy, about to be 2, and into all things cars - just like Dad.  If it goes he's all about it!  As a matter of fact, Mr. O talked dad into bring his 'vet to our session!   Talk about cool points...

NEW FRIENDS | {FAMILY LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER, KATY TEXAS}

My Miss A and, this sweet family's, Mr. J are in the same class this year (and have become pretty good friends).  Even though we have been at the same school for over a year,  Momma T and I are just now crossing paths.  I am excited she rallied her family for a morning in front of my lens, but even more excited about becoming friends with them!   T Family, your love for each other is so vivid and real.  I enjoyed our time together.  Thank you for coming out to play! 

HER WORDS, NOT MINE | {AGLOW 2012 MINI SESSION}

While it was pouring down rain in Katy Sunday, my first round of Aglow mini sessions kicked off with  good ol' country blue skies and sunshine!  Little Miss E started the party.   Full of spunk and imagination this cutie and her alter ego, Princess Knuckle Head, (her words NOT mine) kept me cracking up and on my toes the entire time!   I enjoyed every second of her knock-knock jokes,  karate demonstrations, and tales of how the world needs her to be the next Pink and Purple Ninja Turtle.

TEXAS SWIM ACADEMY | {COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHER, KATY TEXAS}

Texas Swim Academy is officially in their new facility and lessons are in session!!  I was thrilled to be apart of the their busy morning and first lessons.  Congratulations TSA, I wish you many wonderful decades of success!  Hard work does payoff and dreams really do come true!

                      

MOVIN' ON UP | {LIFESTYLE FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER, KATY TEXAS}

 Our sweet friends, The W's, are packing up their belongings and moving on up - err,  across town.  Packing up a lifetime's worth of belongings is a daunting task, I know...I have done it a time or two!  So glad in the midst of all the crazy we were able to memorialize the place where it all started!

We are on the road again with my husband -  I came across this image on my phone from a past road adventure and thought it would be a perfect share.  Oh how we love road trips!!!  Happy Friday all.

BRAND NEW MR. T | {NEWBORN LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER, KATY TX}

I just love it when I get to snuggle and hold brand new babies!!  Having two of my own that are well into being "big boys and girls" it is always a special treat for me to photograph someone so new to this world.  It takes me  back to precious memories of the early days and weeks of parenthood reminding me to slow down and really be present in the everyday because it all passes by in a hurried blur.   The time I spent with sweet Mr T was just perfect.  The newest addition to his already family of four, and the most laid back- super chill little guy I have met, was a dream to work with.  Thanks mom and dad for letting me spend the afternoon with you!  Congratulations on your sweet baby boy!  He is a doll.

WORKIN' IT - J.CREW STYLE | {FAMILY LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER, HOUSTON TX}

It has been ages since I last blogged a session and I have found that I am climbing out from under a mountain of back logged sessions and images.  Sick kids and the high school senior season will do that...never the less,  I have been dying to share the following session I had weeks ago!   Home from school and up way too early on their first day off, the handsome M family did a fantastic job working it for my camera.   I enjoyed the time we spent together and equally love the images that we created!! The last image, albeit serious- is my favorite-hands down.  Love the J.Crew feel.  I like it more and more each time I look at it!  Can I get a collective - rawr?!

COWBOY HATS & MUSTACHES | {FAMILY LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER, KATY TX}

Filled with a natural curiosity of the world around them and an abundance of energy- the kind grown ups long for, Misters E & J jumped, ran, and dug their way through their time with me.  I love when I get to play right along side the cuties I photograph.  Both of these handsome young men are hilarious and totally comfortable in front of the camera.    

  Can't you just see this little guy years from now, and handsome as ever, melting all the little girls hearts!  Look at that sweet face.  And his big bro...

Along with Mr. E's natural swagger in the black and white below, the mustache totally makes this image!  Watch out mom, you have a couple of heart breakers on your hands!!

 I just couldn't resist posting the last two images.  Between shots there was a lot of playing and walking.  Lots. of. walking.  The black and white below is of Mr. E as he was trying to high step it out of the yucky oak pollen.  Somewhere along the way it all became too much.  I love this image for numerous reasons like his expression, the details, but most of all the way it reminds me of  being a parent.  Watching and walking in quiet support from the sidelines until encouragement is needed -reaching in to comfort and help carry the load.

Then there is this image that stirs up delicious memories of being a kid and exploring the great big world.

The S Family | {FAMILY LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER, KATY TX}

With the arrival of sweet baby T just weeks away,{and weather permitting} the S family and I were able to squeeze in a family session.   What a treat it was to watch this family play and interact with each other!  They just radiate love!
