Crawling out from under the rock...

It has been ages since I last posted anything on this blog or even been on a computer for that matter. I have been slow getting back on line after having our house and my home studio involuntarily stripped of everything electronic, including my camera + equipment and my computer. Toss in the arrival of our son, Michael, a week after the break in, and I have officially been living under a rock in the Dark Ages disconnected from humanity for the last month or so. I've never really thought of myself as a "Techie" however, not having the basics has really sent me into some major withdraws! So when the FedEx guy rang the doorbell Wednesday to announce the arrival of my new computer and camera I almost hugged him I was so overjoyed...let the reconnecting with the world begin! (Seriously...having a newborn during the height of winter/ cold and flu season we don't get out much... and as sad as it sounds, having this computer makes me feel a little more alive and involved.) To everyone that has sent me some form of electronic communication....please be patient with me...I am in the beginning stages of checking emails and facebook, etc. I promise I have not been ignoring you!! You will hear from me soon!

I owe a HUGE thank you to those of you that shared cameras and video with my family to capture the birth of our son. Your generosity will stay with us forever! Also, to my husband for bringing home his work computer to take the edge off ...love you!
For those of you who have been waiting to see some pictures of MVP (Michael Van Polak) here he is...
