Bruce and Kathleen McMordie, founders of Texas Swim Academy, have been cornerstones of the Katy swim community for over 10 years. While offering private and group lessons, they are industry leaders in infant survival skills. The only Infant Aquatic Certified program in the Houston area, Texas Swim Academy, has equipped hundreds of infants and children with life saving aquatic skills, my own children included. The steady growth of their business has hit a climatic expansion with the construction of their new 7800 square foot facility opening this June. It will house a large 30'x60' pool and 5 smaller 12'x12' pools designed specifically for the infant survival program.
